Scand Itinerary.
Day1: CPH 26/06
Purchase CPH Card if it offers included connection to central CPH (believe it does). Check-in to hotel and put down barang2 - our hotel is near Tivoli Gardens, a famous amusement park. Have not planned how to travel, dependent on what is included in the CPH card. Of course we will see the mermaid. Overnight in budget hotel.
Day2 27/06: CPH included sightseeing and then transfer to overnight train. Cross the Oresund Bridge to Malmo (Sweden) and change trains to a seating train connecting to Stockholm, arriving early AM next day.
Day3 28/06: Check-in to off-city hotel (10 mins by train fr centre) and collect excellent value-for-money Stockholm a la carte card. Decide on which included boat tours we want to take and which museums to visit. Concentrate on going out of town.
Day4 29/06: Stockholm, 2nd day. Concentrate on city centre/ old part. Early dinner, and then collect stuff from hotel and immediately transfer to central station. Overnight to Oslo on the sleeper train.
Day5 30/06: Oslo. Check-in at hotel AM, try to sort out some sightseeing outside Oslo. Have yet to decide on Oslo Pass.
Day 6 01/07 Oslo2: Vigeland Sculpture Park, not to be missed. City centre, other possibilities.
Transfer to bus (not yet booked) to Torp airport after early dinner for 2200+ flight back to Birmingham (Ryanair, arrival 2325). Overnight in (hopefully) cosy airport couch in arrival lounge.
Day7 02/07: Take early AM train to Birmingham city centre for some nice breakfast. Possibility of leaving luggage behind at train station for a slow amble into the heart of Britain's 2nd largest city (probably conurbation). Stop for a spot of shopping at TK Maxx (opens 9am), Bullring ("the largest shopping centre in Europe"). Transfer to 1032 train to Cardiff.
I will stop off with most of luggage at Newport Gwent station, and go straight into work (ETA 1pm at work). Mum will continue on train to Cathays from where it is a short 10 minute walk back home.
Itinerary may be changed subject to foreseen and/or unforeseen circumstances.
We do not offer any refunds whatsoever.
