Malaysia just lost in the semifinals of the Tiger Cup 3-5 on aggregate to Indonesia. Damn.. I had high hopes for them when they eked out an away win in the first leg, only to collapse spectacularly at home. Well it was still good they got so far.

Another startling piece of news: Malaysian backup badminton coach Tan Kim Her has been appointed South Korean national doubles coach! What an honour.
