weekend full of sport

Hey I cheered someone's day yesterday!! Hahahhaha =)))) Happy happy also... But then I went out to have buffet at Terra Cotta and then played badminton. In the end I inhaled too much air while playing (though I did beat Roger 15-13) and it was again so uncomfortable. Ho Fung's weekend here was such a blast but also such ephemerality. He's gone home again now....

Badminton at the Chinese Nottingham Games was bad. First the organiser set unfair rules with regards to our wrong information obtained so we ended up 2 girls short. It was harsh that we had to win all 5 of our matches to to win the entire tie, when just 3 would normally have been enough. So we knew that however well we played we would still "lose" to the opponents. LSE was lousy though, and we were 2-2 but for the unplayed ladies double match (which, if played, we'd have won). So then we met Warwick which was unfortunate as they are very strong. They just unluckily faced Nottingham earlier, and also had poor girls. Their mens singles and doubles promptly despatched us 15-0, and so we were losers again. Unfortunately, and unsportingly, UCL disappeared without a trace after they lost both games and were about to face us. So it does look like we finished 7 out of 8 despite the unfair ruling against us. And I was denied the chance to play singles. Damn.

So it's been badminton every day for me since Thurs (with street soccer on Fri too). And MANCHESTER UNITED BEAT CHELSEA 1-0!!!! Hah!! Take that, you Chelseaovich fans! 40 games unbeaten, too bad. Man Utd is coming back (hopefully). If we win the reverse fixture, as well as our game in hand, we will only be 4 points behind! Then if Arsenal and, to a lesser extent, Liverpool carve out wins against them, we will be back. Only now we have to catch Wigan.

Wishing luck for Cyn meimei in her exams. And all my work too.
