Events

Been hit by a few unlucky events, small things life throws back at me for being rather unscathed all my life.

1) Goodbye to my Pentax Optio S55, lost in Amsterdam at the last possible moment, 22 mths old
2) Memory card - Kingston 512MB and all pics, also 22 mths.
3) Sanyo 2700mAh batteries, 4 mths old.
4) Took the earlier train from Birmingham to Leicester and kena excess to pay on the ticket cos I was not supposed to take that train (!). 40.50 pounds.
5) Can't find my spare RJ45 cable.
6) Badminton string broke (restrung all the way back in Malaysia in Feb) after 2 or 3 mths

Brighter fronts coming hopefully.
Camera, pls pls come back, with the pics.

  • well that means there's a possibility that the camera will return rite?

sanyo batteries can't make it. then again, neither can GP. I'm using Powerex now, a brand from Taiwan, hopefully they'll last longer.

  • That possibility is as slim as an anorexic girl who would actually have died 2 months ago.

I found the Sanyo batteries all right, and with the charger only cost like 23 bucks from Best Denki.

  • ah yes i had 2 sets of sanyos 23000 mAh bought in 2004. one set lasted 2 years while the other much less. at first they could hold a charge for some time.

then last year both sets started dying on me, where 1 day's standby would drain the charge completely.

and i tried GP, which fared worse, within months of usage they couldn't hold a charge for a few days already! photog forums actually have ppl discussing which batteries are good / faulty by the batch which was manufactured!

  • You losing your cammy made me freak out a bit. I just bought a pink Sony and I intend to keep it... well, till it's outdated. XD
