Plans getting complicated
Thought I'd update things here...
1) Easter trip to the Southwest
Been planning that for the past few weeks but with little action. Sat down this weekend to go through things myself and boy, there's a lot to see and do! Last minute hiccups meant one and then another friend couldn't make it (the former could in the end). Still need to book hostels.
2) May Spring Bank Holiday trip
Took 2 days of leave to go to Norway and Amsterdam. This one is crucial since I am actually spending my leave so I got down to some early planning. Also cos costs are higher with ths trip than the former since I will need to fly around. FOr the Southwest we are driving around which does lower our costs (and not really subject to fluctuating prices (eg flight).
3) Clear up my room
The past week has been so busy for me, preparing my presentation and then having Wed night taken up by the dinner with my outgoing section head. I slept at 4am that day (thurs morning) and the presentation was that afternoon itself.
4) Computer woes
Found out my certmgr.dll file was corrupted and tried to change it. Also did some virus scans and defrags etc. Prob will need to check my registry too for errors. And then need to get back my external HDD and subject that to antivirus check (60GB of stuff there) before doing some picture backups and probably burn cds of my pictures. Want to prevent losing my impt stuff in case my laptop suddenly decides to commit suicide. Although in all probablility, cos I am such a careful user of my stuff I do expect the laptop to last another 3 years I can't be sure. It's gone on for almost 4 years relatively trouble-free.
The file corruption issue hasn't been completely solved. My HDD is still searching for a missing file but at least that's not happening every time, but it has to do with my new AVG7.5 antivirus. It calls up some files which appear to have conflicts or maybe my windows components are a little corrupted. Perhaps I should feedback to AVG but I haven't completely found the root cause yet. I would still recommend AVG nevertheless cos it's free and has been quite a good servant.
Realised my Hertha Frankfurters expire tomorrow so I will be having lots of sausages today and tmr hahahaha.
I can see other problems rearing their ugly head already; need to think about them too. Maybe when I have more time I will sit down and do a complete overhaul.

heh. googled hertha frankfurters, like no such thing lidat. but u succeeded in one thing - reminding me of my fetish with sausages (i mean it in a good clean fun literal sense too). miss chicken sausages!
and cereals with milk too. gotta have that some time soon, missing out on way too much. later homie!
GTA iV coming out in Oct this year if i'm not mistaken. check out the trailer!
