Amelie.

So I've been back a while, and I've opened some pineapple tarts, kueh kapit, Nabisco chicken-in-a-biskit, Arnott's BBQ shapes, Fisher cheese balls (because I didn't manage to get Planters'), kuel lapis (not really my favourite but hey it's edible!), preserved red dates, honey dates, prawn rolls, BBQ pork. And some not opened stuff, like Hello Panda, pork floss....

I also bought quite a lot of biscuits here which I take to work... I shall eat my chinese new year goodies sparingly.

I watched Amelie on tv during the weekend, and it was quite a cinematic experience, better than The Illusionist which I watched in the cinema. I hadn't known Amelie would actually be nice (given the simple and rather discomforting picture of Audrey Taotou - who reminds me somewhat of Sophia Loren - weird given I don't normally follow cinema anyway). Now I know the film won a fair number of awards in its day... And the wikipedia pic of her is actually nicer than her made up in the entire movie!

And she's French.
(Anyone else watched the Peugeot Blackpool/Paris advertisement????? Cool!)
